DaVinci – “Concrete Jungle Juice” (Music Video) from Sweetbreads Creative Collective on Vimeo

Nothing says hardcore quite like a Pitchfork premiere, but I’ll ignore that dubious decision because DaVinci does not appear to be in danger of wearing cardigans or purchasing Deerhunter records anytime soon. I’m not sure if they served “Concrete Jungle Juice” at the Pitchfork festival. The one time I was there, it was Sparks all day, every day–the only beverage that can comfortable replace MD 20/20 for the throne of drink that can be best described as “liquid crack.”

Sooner than later, I hope to finish transcribing a DaVinci interview that I did when he was out in LA. In the interim, here’s a few new and good songs that I’ve neglected posting in my 24-hour haze–not to be confused with the sativa strain “24 Hr Haze” that is currently sweeping dispensaries throughout the Eastside.
