Reader Michael Kim asked me earlier today if I still had the files to the Summer Smoke mix that I made for Soul Sides last year. Turns out that I do — along with the remains of the Romanov children, a T206 Honus Wagner baseball card, and the never-before-seen too-hot-for-TV episode of Frasier where Niles comes out of the closet. Michael thought it might be a good soundtrack to the blistering heat wave currently wrecking Los Angeles. Maybe you will too.
