In which the former Jamie Vex gets all spooky with King Midas Sound’s kiss-off anthem. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on in the backwards video but it fits the sonics like a glove and I’m convinced King Midas Sound are the most photogenic band of musicians working right now. As I said in my review of their live show last year, these guys don’t wear costumes, they just look like that in real life. Anytime a dub poet, a confrontational iconoclast and a diminutive hellcat come together like Voltron to scare the living bjeezus out of techno-snobs, I’m down. The forthcoming KMS remix project is an interesting proposition as well, forgoing predictable names in favor of Ras G, Nite Jewel, Hype Williams, Gang Gang Dance and more. I suspect it will be some scary shit. It’ll also include a heavily hyped Digital Mystikz remix, a preview of which can be found after le jump.
