Earlier this week, I received an e-mail from Devin Chanda, pointing me towards this excellent mini-doc of the Coathangers that he made for Jay-Z’s Life + Times website. He also told me that he first got put onto the Coathangers via Passion of the Weiss, meaning that somehow this site is indirectly responsible for a cross-breeding between Jay-Z and The Coathangers. Let me be the first to start the “Jay-Z must collaborate with the Coathangers campaign” God knows they’re more hard core than J. Cole.
