That should give you an idea of what the New York native is working with — post-Joker London future bass music that breathes with the pulmonary smoothness of a non-smoker, and the hypnotic transitions of a chronic drug user.
Admittedly, it’s a leap of faith to be posting “Grapes Alla Vodka” at 9:00 a.m. in the morning. This is the sort of song that causes asthma attacks. It should only be played around 1:00 a.m., out of the most monstrous speakers money can buy. You should be very drunk and probably a little high. This is an anthem for those distrustful of anthems. Bass to drown. Pseudo-Screw remixes by kids who first tipped on the Internet. Ferocious staggering future funk. Did I mention his name was RL Grime?
