Maybe you remember Holloway’sCool and Deadly” reggae mix that I posted last March. If you don’t, the link is active and still awesome.

Regardless, the older god of the LA DJ world returns with his latest mix for Dublab. This originally dropped last month in the thick of summer and still brings the sweltering heat even as we slip into the season of seemingly endless nights. The mix starts with John Lee Hooker’s “I’m Bad Like Jesse James” and ends with Les Gams’ “Lady Marmalade.” In between, Holloway covers everything else including French chanson pop, African 70s funk, boogie funk, classic soul, psychedelic rock, and even an instrumental of a Mark Ronson beat that Nate Dogg once demolished. Let him learn you something.
