Flume_ChetFaker

Chris Daly’s favorite surf/hockey/rollerblading movie is “Airborne”

Sure, Flume & Chet Faker’s Lockjaw EP dropped late last year. And yes, the original video for “Drop the Game” is a thing of beauty in itself, featuring the masterful lock and pop action of Storyboard P. But that doesn’t mean the story has to end there. Obviously realizing a damn fine track when he hears one, photographer/filmmaker/artist/Kahuna-in-training Morgan Maassen sets some stunning footage of 16-yeard-old surfter Frankie Harrer tearing it up in Teahupoo (that’s Tahiti for those too lazy to google it themselves) in May 2014 to the purloined tune. From gorgeous underwater shots to young Ms. Harrer shredding some tasty waves, if this video doesn’t get your summer juices flowing, you may well be all dried up inside. Should you find yourself in such a state, I advise grabbing liberal amounts of Sex Wax and hash wax, combining and seeing where that takes you. Surf’s up, dude.
