So it begins, Unknown Number, a rap and grime night brought to you by POW and grime producer, Letta. The first of the monthly series starts next Thursday at Lot 1 in Echo Park. 1533 W. Sunset Blvd. Starts at 10 p.m. and goes until 2, featuring DJ sets from Kozee, Letta, Patrick Brian, and Passion of the Weiss (he is I and I am him).
It’s free. It’s 21+ (for now). It’s going to be the only place in LA to hear grime of the instrumental and vocal variety. And I’m going to be playing all sorts of dumb and smart rap shit for both onionheads and those with normally shaped skulls. It’s going to be a gala affair as far as filthy affairs go.
