DJ Drama asked to host Lucas Foster‘s new tape and he turned him down.
Adamn Killa is living his best life. He owns his masters and a brand new Tesla, and Independent Living Like I’m Signed is his announcement of all of this. It’s solid tape, with excellent production and the always steady signature raspy-voiced Adamn sing-song flows. The Chicago auto-tune wizard’s talents have been a sort of open secret in a certain corner of the industry for some time now (he pals around with Yung Lean, gets beats from everyone who matters in the post-Soundcloud sphere, and has an impressive array of placements over the last 4 years) and he doesn’t have to do much more than he’s doing to live comfortably. This isn’t new territory for him, but with the Uzi twitter co-sign/not-so-subtle Atlantic and DJ Drama diss, it probably will be for some new listeners.
