Maybe I missed it, but otherwise, Houston’s LE$ is missing out on an album-title-of the-year candidate in LE$ is More. Instead, we get Settle for LE$ Volume 2, which should appeal to Interneters who found A$AP Rocky’s mixtape a little Internetty. We are a self-loathing breed.

No time for a long review because I’m embroiled in preparations for our year end rap singles list going up tomorrow (set your sundial.) In the interim, LE$’s new tape is highly endorsed for those sipping and wood gripping and for those who don’t know what that means (such as myself). Strong rapping, guest spots from Slim Thug, Bun B and Chamillionaire. Beats from (among others) Burn One. There is also an instrumental number that samples both “Hard in Da Paint” and The Chronic. It’s called “RIDININMRRODGERSNEIGHBORHOOD.” If that doesn’t sell you, I don’t know what will.

Video for “3rd Coastin” below the jump.
