With little more than warping bass lines and syncopated percussion, Crystal Meth serves as a potent reminder that all House music need not be about revivalist trends and Ryan Gosling soundtracks, substituting the familiar for the seizure inducing. The accompanying video serves as the perfect introduction to the Butterz aesthetic: drunk English girls, lighters in the air and the sudden interruption of an MC demanding that the track be wheeled back. Fans of mature music beware.
