Nicolas Jaar in full trip-hopping “Too Many Kids Finding Rain in the Dust” mode. Dave Harrington with the bluesy psychedelia. The Darkside duo do not release anything less than excellent songs and manage to invalidate all ideas about bluesy guitar riffs and a Pink Floyd influence being a deal breaker. It’s not the ideas themselves as much as the implementation. However, I am worried that T.I. will hear “Paper Trails” and make diss song riddled with subtweet style attacks.

The word on the street is that if you sink up the forthcoming Darkside album with Pacific Rim and some Ambien, your life will be irrevocably altered.
