pixelized shoes

There’s no need for a lengthy intro, this is the third year in a row I’ve been offering up a mix of the best rock music these years have to offer. So unless your favorite grimy garage band is staunchly anti-Spotify or release labels on Drag City (no shots, Spotify is a necessary evil and if your band or label has managed to find a way to not need it, that is very commendable), it’s probably here on this playlist. You might find some new favorites, as did I, searching for the best songs that fit the Dirty Shoes wheelhouse. Without further delay, here is the 2016 Dirty Shoes Thirty. —Douglas Martin
