The beat reminds me of Edan’s “I See Colours.” There are lyrical references to “Git Up, Get Out” and “Roc Boys,” and there is artwork of what I imagine is either the black King Lear or the guy from the artwork for “Mr. Wendel.”Arrested Development: we all made a huge mistake. Or did we?

The brilliance of Outkast is not only that their influence continues to be felt, but how many ways in which it can still thrive. In the last year, Krit, Kendrick, and Curren$y have all taken chunks from ATliens and Aquemini. Every fusion group is still trying to tap into the jungle psych of Stankonia or the tie-died soul of Love Below. But ADD+ remind me of the days when ‘Kast rocked Braves throwbacks and braids. That Southernplayalistic shit. The rapping on “Suitcases” is good. The chemistry is better. They sound hungry and restless but keep things funky with production from PicnicTyme. There are few rap groups this consistent right now.
