After a three-week hiatus due to the Hellfyre Club tour and various chicanery and illegal schemes, Shots Fired returns with an episode loosely devoted to Jimmy the Burnout. Daddy Kev, co-founder of Low End Theory and founder of Alpha Pup, came through and added context on Nocando’s career. I chimed in with questions about his battle years, his early love of B-Legit and Yukmouth of Luniz, and his evolution as an artist.

In addition, a brief discussion of the new albums from YG, Vince Staples, and MadGibbs, the gospel of Suga Free, and Benzino getting shot. The podcast link is below the jump, along with Jimmy the Burnout, which you should buy if you want to see Nocando rolling down Crenshaw in a Bentley with Naruto’s face on it.
